Default The aggro bubble

I realize its so late in the game that somthing like this is highly unlikely but you never know so here goes.

I would like to see some (not all) skills have an effect on the enemys aggro bubble. For example a skill that needs a buff would have the effect of reducing the bubble and one that needs a nerf would increase it.

I do alot of running so thats what made me think of it but it could surly see some interesting use in other situations. Could have a positive effect on PUGs in the right situation. Would lessen the chance of someone over aggroing. Ranged classes could have skills that would allow them to attack outside the bubble for longer.

Im not very good at making my suggestion sound as cool as i think it would be but feel free to comment however you feel and add other uses for specific skills or builds where this would be a good addition.

Let yourself die, and don't let your heroes rez you. Now, select a hero and you can see through its eyes. Move that hero with the flags to a place outside aggro range of your corpse. If you know where monsters are at, move that hero to the monsters location (keeping it out of your corpse's aggro range). You will get to see what the monsters in the game see. Until you get into aggro range (the bubble on the radar) you can't see anything. We actually get to cheat, as we can see things well beyond our aggro, and even through walls. As long as a monster knows you are there it can hit you from outside the aggro bubble (whether using a long/flatbow or from a higher elevation).

Allowing things to alter this game mechanic would require a ton of rebalancing, and a ton of reprogramming. Not only does Anet not have the time, staff, or money to do something like this, it would change one of the basic game play mechanics, which they won't do.

*I don't really see how these skills would be of much use.
*Balancing skills in order to buff runners is a waste of resources.
*This would require a ton of work. Given I can't think of any reason this could be good, it would just be a case of throwing their resources out the window.
*Introducing new mechanics to try and make up for the stupidity of people is a waste of time. The stupidity of most people is infinite. Besides, this would just make people stupider by avoiding the problem. They still won't watch their radar. They still won't know how far they are from the backline. If anything, PuG's will start demanding 'omg drop AScan because I need you to fix my aggro bubble'

You know what anet's staff size is? Time spent? And the amount of money anet has is? I'm impressed, you must be an anet employee or the president of anet or married to him/her.

Other than troll your post which as usual is a troll...

/unsigned because the aggro bubble as it is is a part of the game in pve.

We know the live team is small. That's part of the reason why stuff takes so long to happen. Perhaps someone who pays attention to Anet information 'releases' (I'll start caring when they actually give us the update) will have a much more accurate number range.

It's hardly likely that Anet have the aggro system set up in such a way that it's a simple matter of changing one variable. Aggro is much more complex than that, so the chances are pretty much negligible. Implementing this idea will take a large chunk of time. You can't deny that.

The amount they have isn't the point. It's what they could do with it. Would you rather they put the money towards a skill/content update or this idea? As you've /notsigned, the answer is no.

Maybe if Anet was Blizzard and were guaranteed to have a ton of money rolling in from monthly subscriptions alone, then we'd be more open to ideas, but Anet has limited resources. That's what matters. Not how much of time/money/whatever they have.

I can hardly see any reasons for such a change
